A quick trip to Scalea, Italy July 20-23rd 2019. I purchased inexpensive tickets from Bordeaux to Naples for a 3 day weekend. We wanted sunshine and beaches but didn’t want the Positano experience, so we decided to try Scalea. The atmosphere was very relaxing and it didn’t feel like a tourist trap. I managed to get a good deal at the Grand Rose Hotel which provided free sun beds. If you are looking for something different and off the beaten path I would recommend Scalea for a couple of days.
