My only request to Brent for our trip was that we do the hike from Fira to Oia while in Santorini (doing everything I can to keep up with marathon training on this trip). He rallied and did the 14 mile round trip trek in the hot August heat with me. You get some of the best views of the island from this trail and it was also a great way to escape the peak summer crowds. (Although August crowds in Greece don’t seem to be as bad as Grande Plage in Biarritz this time of year). #santorini #greece
